Domestic Water & Fire Meters
Mickie Service Company also installs hundreds of domestic meters every year. Domestic water service (the standard water used by a household) is delivered by excavating to the water main, tapping the main, installing a copper service line, installing the meter/meter box (supplied by the City of Houston/applicable municipality during the inspection process) and backfilling the excavation. Fire sprinkler meters are installed in the same fashion – however, there is a special meter application procedure that must be followed.
Mickie also provides commercial clients with commercial domestic water & fire meters service.
Residential Irrigation Meters
Mickie Service Company installs hundreds of irrigation meters every year. Residential irrigation water service (water used for landscape irrigation) is generally delivered by connecting to the domestic water service for the residence and installing the meter/meter box (supplied by the City of Houston/applicable municipality during the inspection process).
