Recent Project
2" Line Stop — Copper Water Line
What We Did
We installed a 2" line stop on an existing copper water line to isolate the section so the contractor could cut in a new 2" isolation valve. The line remained pressurized and no service interruption was required during the work.
Why It Mattered
The building now has a permanent shutoff point that did not exist before, giving the owner full control over that section of the line going forward.

Add-A-Valve for Copper Pipe Systems
For smaller copper pipe applications, Mickie Service uses the Add-A-Valve — a self-contained valve installation tool that lets us add a shutoff point to a live copper line without freezing the pipe, shutting down the facility, or bringing in nitrogen equipment.
Works On: Hard copper pipe — Type K, M, and L | Sizes: 1/2" – 2" | Rated: 250 PSI / 220°F
